UAE e-invoicing

UAE e-invoicing, built into your ERP and run for you

Your ASP transmits the invoice. We make sure your ERP can produce one that passes, then run the agent that handles rejections and inbound supplier e-invoices every day. For finance teams in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and across the UAE.

The mandate

What UAE e-invoicing requires

UAE e-invoicing is the Ministry of Finance mandate that replaces PDF and paper invoices between businesses with structured electronic invoices. From 1 January 2027, businesses with revenue of AED 50 million or more must issue and receive B2B and B2G invoices as XML in the PINT AE format, sent through an accredited service provider (ASP) and reported to the Federal Tax Authority (FTA).

It runs on a Peppol-based five-corner model: your ASP sends each invoice to your customer's ASP and reports the tax data to the FTA. From your go-live date, a PDF, a scan or an email attachment no longer counts as a valid invoice.

Appointing an ASP is the quick part. The bigger job sits inside your business: getting your ERP to fill the 51 mandatory fields correctly on every invoice, fixing what bounces, and processing the e-invoices your suppliers send back. That's the part we build and run.

Appoint an accredited ASP by 31 March 2027. Mandatory from 1 October 2027

Since 1 October 2026, only service providers fully accredited by the Ministry of Finance can offer e-invoicing (Ministerial Decision No. 168 of 2026), so confirm your ASP's accreditation before you sign. Late implementation costs AED 5,000 a month, and each late invoice or credit note costs AED 100, up to AED 5,000 a month.

The problem

UAE e-invoicing requirements land on finance, not on your ASP

These are the workflows we build and run for finance and operations teams. For UAE teams we add the local rules: VAT and TRN checks, AED and multi-currency handling, and the e-invoicing data your ASP needs.

How it works

How the e-invoicing agent works alongside your ASP

Inbound works the same way in reverse. A supplier e-invoice arrives through your ASP, the agent checks the TRN and VAT, matches it to the PO and goods receipt, and posts it to your ERP. Anything that doesn't match goes to your team as an exception, with the reason attached.

Who does what

Your accredited service provider vs Predflow

You still need an accredited service provider, and Predflow isn't one. We work alongside whichever ASP you appoint, including your ERP vendor's own e-invoicing module.

Your ASP

Accredited by the Ministry of Finance to exchange e-invoices

Converts and transmits invoices over the Peppol network

Reports tax data to the FTA

Returns validation errors and rejections

Delivers incoming e-invoices from suppliers

Predflow

Not an ASP. We work alongside the one you appoint

Maps your ERP data to the PINT AE fields your ASP expects

Cleans supplier, customer and tax master data so invoices pass validation

Runs an agent that triages rejections and routes fixes, every day

Matches incoming e-invoices to POs and GRNs and posts them to your ERP

What we run

The e-invoicing work we build and run for UAE finance teams

Each agent runs inside your ERP, whether that's Focus ERP, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business One, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Zoho Books or Tally. No migration and no new tool for your team to learn.

ERP-to-PINT AE mapping

Every field your ERP holds mapped to the Ministry of Finance data dictionary, including the ones it doesn't hold yet, so invoices leave in the format your ASP expects.

Master data clean-up

Customer and supplier TRNs, Peppol IDs, tax codes and addresses checked and corrected before go-live, then kept clean as new records are added.

Master data โ†’ checked โ†’ corrected

Rejection handling

ASP and validation errors read every day, fixed where the rule is clear and routed to your team where it isn't, then resent.

Inbound e-invoice processing

Supplier e-invoices received through your ASP, checked for TRN and 5% VAT, 3-way matched to the PO and goods receipt, and posted to your ERP.

E-invoice in โ†’ PO + GRN matched โ†’ posted

Credit notes and corrections

Electronic credit notes raised against the right original invoice and sent on time, so a correction doesn't turn into a late-invoice penalty.

Correction โ†’ credit note โ†’ sent

PDF and Arabic invoices

Suppliers not yet on e-invoicing still send PDFs and scans, often bilingual Arabic/English. The same agent reads them and runs the same checks.

Quote to invoice in Focus

Customer RFQs turned into quotes, sales orders and invoices in Focus, with your team approving each step, so every invoice leaves the ERP ready for PINT AE.

HOW AN ENGAGEMENT STARTS

From readiness review to live e-invoicing

Step 1

Week 1: Readiness review. We test a sample of your recent invoices and master data against the PINT AE fields, so you see what will fail before your ASP does.

Step 2

Weeks 1โ€“2: Mapping and clean-up. We map your ERP fields, fix the master data and connect to your ASP's test environment. Agents run in your environment or on our cloud, your choice.

Step 3

Weeks 2โ€“4: Parallel run. Invoices flow through the mapping and the agent while your team checks the output, until it matches what they would have sent.

Step 4

Ongoing: Run under SLA. We monitor every invoice, handle rejections and inbound exceptions, and update the mapping when the rules change. Every exception becomes a rule.

Our engineers work 1.5 hours ahead of the UAE, and we can work on-site in Dubai.

proof

Invoice matching already runs in production

Our agent for Plum reads PDF supplier invoices, matches them to POs and goods receipts, and posts them to SAP. Inbound e-invoices arrive as structured data instead of PDFs, so they skip the reading step and go through the same matching, with UAE VAT and TRN checks added.
