A custom plastics manufacturer in the US Midwest runs order-to-cash on NetSuite. Predflow built and runs two AI agents inside its NetSuite and email: one turns emailed customer POs into sales orders, the other matches each proof of delivery to its order and sends the invoice. 92% of POs now post with no CSR touch, the team has 12 hours a week back, invoices go out 8 days sooner and $40k of working capital is freed.

Understanding the Problem

Our client, a custom plastics manufacturer in the US Midwest, runs its order-to-cash operations on NetSuite. Two core workflows still ran by hand. Customers emailed their purchase orders (POs), and a customer service rep (CSR) keyed each one into NetSuite, checked stock, looked up contract pricing and confirmed the order manually.

Billing had its own bottleneck. Carriers sent proof of delivery (POD) by email or on paper, and staff scanned each one into a standalone document database with no link to NetSuite. Billing had to search that database before every invoice could go out, so invoices trailed deliveries by days and customers received PODs only when they asked for them.

What We Built

We designed and deployed AI agents that run live inside the client's own NetSuite and email stack and own two workflows end-to-end.

Order entry: PO to Sales Order

  • Reads every emailed PO: picks up each purchase order as it lands, with no one keying it in.

  • Matches customer and items: maps the PO to the right customer and item records in NetSuite.

  • Checks stock and contract pricing: the same checks a CSR used to run by hand before confirming.

  • Creates the Sales Order on its own: where everything lines up, the order posts straight into NetSuite.

  • Routes low-confidence matches to a CSR: anything the agent isn't sure about goes to the team to review.

Billing: POD to invoice

  • Reads each carrier POD: no more scanning delivery proof into a separate database.

  • Matches it to the Sales Order: links the POD to its order and updates NetSuite.

  • Sends the invoice at once: the invoice goes out as soon as delivery is confirmed, with the POD attached.

The agents work on the client's own systems, inside NetSuite and email, rather than in a separate tool the team has to log into.

Outcome

POs now post to NetSuite on their own. 92% of customer orders go in with no CSR touch. The other 8% go to a CSR, with the reason flagged. The team handles only those exceptions and gets back 12 hours every week.

Invoices now go out on delivery, with the POD attached, instead of waiting on a database search. That cut 8 days from delivery to invoice, started the AR clock the day goods arrive, and freed $40k in working capital. Customers no longer have to ask for proof of delivery.

Frequently asked questions

What exactly is an AI agent
